I took several students to Istanbul, Turkey to participate collaborative project with Bahcesehir University. The Visual-ist program attempted to [re]discover Istanbul through the eyes of architects and designers. For three weeks students worked together and examined the complexities of Istanbul and tried extract its essence in a series of visual explorations that would later become a book and an international exhibition.
